Sex charge jails Breaux Bridge man

A 46-year-old Breaux Bridge man was arrested Wednesday, March 26, on suspicion of failing to register as a sex offender.

Following an investigation, deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Dwight Wiltz and booked him into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on failure to register and notify as a sex offender and a probation violation, non-support.

Bond was set at $5,000 on the failure to register charge, and a $13,372.83 cash bond was set on the probation violation.
