LAFAYETTE JUVENILE ARRESTED ON ASSAULT AND CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY CHARGE

A Lafayette juvenile, male, 16, was arrested this afternoon following an investigation into a drive-by shooting that occurred in August in the Arnaudville area of St. Martin Parish. He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

1 Count of RS 14:37-Assault By Drive By Shooting
1 Count of RS 14:56-Criminal Damage To Property Over $500.00

Following the book-in proceedings, he was transferred to a Juvenile facility in Lafayette.
