AMBER ALERT CANCELLED FOR ASCENSION WOMAN AND GRANDSON
The Louisiana State Police has cancelled an AMBER Alert on behalf of the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office for two year old Denim Bureau and his grandmother, 54 year old Mary Jones.
Both have been found unharmed in Calcasieu Parish. Troy Jones is in custody.
Prairieville - The Louisiana State Police has issued an AMBER Alert on behalf of the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office for two year old Denim Bureau believed to have been abducted along with his grandmother, 54 year old Mary Jones.
Denim Bureau and Mary Jones were last seen at 38466 HWY 42 in Prairieville, Ascension Parish. Law enforcement officials believe Jones and the two year old child were abducted in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 19th by 48 year old Troy Jones, Mary’s estranged husband.
Jones may be driving a blue 2016 Hyundai Elantra bearing Louisiana license plate ZDC995.
Denim Bureau is believed to be in imminent danger and is described as a black male child with short black hair, brown eyes, approximately 2’ 6” tall and weighing 39 pounds. He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and diaper. Mary Jones is 54 years old and is a black female with black hair, brown eyes, approximately 5’8” tall and 210 pounds. Troy Jones is a 48 year old black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5’11” tall and 210 pounds.
