The Grand Réveil Acadien organizers will hold an informational gathering at NuNu's Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 3:30 p.m. There will be complimentary coffee and snacks and everyone is invited.
Le Grand Réveil, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the arrival of the Acadians to south Louisiana, is Oct. 3-12. Focus will be placed on the Lafayette region, including Corridor des Arts in Sunset, Grand Coteau, Cecilia and Arnaudville, will be Oct. 8-11.
Other events and celebrations will be held in Lake Charles, Houma, Lafayette and New Orleans.
