Two Burglary Suspects Arrested; 1 Remains at Large

On September 20, 2013 at approximately 9:30 a.m., a residence off of Sawmill Hwy., near the Lafayette/St. Martin Parish line, was broken into and numerous items were taken.

Two of the suspects have been arrested with the assistance of the U.S. Marshals Violent Offender Task Force and the Carencro Police Department, and have been identified as Brandon Alfred, 24, Carencro and Voorhies Gotch, 24, Carencro. They were booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center on burglary charges and are awaiting transfer to St. Martin Parish.

The third suspect remains at large and is identified as Tyrus Arceneaux 25, Lafayette.  Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Mr. Arceneaux is asked to contact the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office at (337) 394-3071.
