Building permits issued in October

Seven permits are granted

in October

Seven building permits were issued by Building Inspector Donnie Ousse’s office in October.

Permits included: Doug Ashy Building, 302 E. Texas, shed; Troy LeBlanc, 413 W. Branche, remodel; Hudson Company, 1926 Church Point Hwy., remodel; Eric Thomas, 702 W. Branche, patio; West Builders, 1809 East B North, new house; John Johnson, 208 Section, shed; and Cozy Gage, Sr., 407 W. Anding, addition.

Permit fees were $711 with new house and commercial value estimated at $80,000; while remodeling projects were figured at $181,500, for a grand total of $262,211.

Ten electrical permits were granted with $323 in fees collected

Three plumbing permits were granted with $85.50 in fees ordered

Seven gas permits were issued with $175 in fees collected.

Two trailer moving permits were granted for $50.

Four miscellaneous permits resulted in $200 in fees.

Total fees collected during October were $1,544.50.
