April Lynn Vincent

St. Martinville – Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for April Lynn Vincent, 35, who passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette.

Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.

Rev. Ed Degeyter conducted the services.

April won numerous pageant titles when she was younger. In her free time she enjoyed dancing, watching television, writing poems, and spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her biological father, Lee Ray Hardy of Arnaudville; her mother, Rita Bonin of Parks; her son, Dillon Vincent of Carencro; her daughters, Ashley Page Rocca (Rocky) of Kaplan and Gabrielle M. Vincent of Parks; her brothers, Wayne Hardy of Cecilia and Ryan Hardy of Henderson; her sisters, Kathy Hamlet (David) of Parks, Cynthia Robin of Breaux Bridge, Jennifer Hardy of Henderson and Leah Hardy of Cecilia; and her grandchildren, Noah Rocca and Emma Rocca.

She was preceded in death by her father, Desire Bonin Sr.; her brother, Sonny Bonin Jr.; her maternal grandparents, Sanders and Lucy Champagne; and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Aymar Bonin Sr.

A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
