Since its beginning as Cajuns for Bayou Teche, The TECHE Project, through its Bayou Operations Program, has removed over 50 tons of trash from the bayou, yet people keep stacking it out there.

Tour du Teche, Inc., will hold two one-day races for kayaks, canoes, pirogues, and SUPs this spring, one in April and one in May.
Breaux Bridge – The second annual Cajun Classique antique and classic boat cruise on Bayou Teche from Monday, April 13, to Sunday, April 19, will go from Arnaudville through Breaux Bridge, St. Martinville and New Iberia, and end in Franklin where the sixth annual Bayou Teche Wooden Boat Show will be in progress.
