Cajun Classique wooden boat cruise postponed until April 25-May 1

Lower Teche closed due to oil spill

UPDATE: THE CLASSIQUE HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL APRIL 25-MAY 1 DUE TO OIL SPILL.
The 3rd annual Cajun Classique, a week-long wooden boat cruise on Bayou Teche, will start April 4 in Berwick and end in Leonville on April 10, a leisurely cruise of about 125 miles.
Registration remains open through April 3. The best way to sign up is via info@cajunclassique.com.
Among the highlights this year are a crawfish boil, a Zydeco breakfast, visits to the oldest Cajun dance hall and a folk art gallery, crawfish etouffee cooking demo, swamp tour and aluminum boat building tour,.
The Cajun Classique is sponsored by the Southwest Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Society, in association with Bayou Teche Experience.
