BB tops Rayne, CHS goes 1-2 in tourney

In a quiet Thanksgiving holiday week the Breaux Bridge Tigers claimed a 63-55 season opening victory over Rayne while Cecilia won one game and lost two in the Port Barre tournament.
St. Martinville was idle.
The Bulldogs opened tournament action with an 83-78 loss to Port Barre then fell to a hot shooting Carencro team, 109-85. The ’Dogs did manage to defeat Opelousas Catholic 71-40 in their final tourney contest.

Games scheduled over the next seven days include:
•Wednesday/Thursday, Dec. 2-5 – St. Martinville in Hamilton Christian Tournament; Breaux Bridge in Alexandria Tournament.
•Tuesday, Dec. 8 – St. Martinville hosts Opelousas; Breaux Bridge hosts Patterson.
