Wilfred J. Derouen

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, Aug. 29, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Wilfred Joseph Derouen, 91, who passed away on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemeterye.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ledet Derouen of St. Martinville; son, Gerald J. Derouen of St. Martinville; daughter, Mrs. Russell (Donna) Bailey of Austin, Texas; sister, Dorothy Louis of Houston, Texas; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Howard, Junius, Wallace, Roy and Horace Derouen; and his sisters, Nelia Lombard and Nolia Louis.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
