Verna Mae T. Guidroz

A Mass of Christian Burial wcelebrated on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church for Verna Mae Taylor Guidroz, 82, who passed away on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014, in Gonzales.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Howard (Wanda) Martin of Gonzales; six sons, Dutile “D.J.” Guidroz of Walker, Leonard J. Guidroz and David Guidroz of Gonzales, Terry Guidroz and Parick Guidroz of Arnaudville and Daniel Guidroz of Port Barre; two sisters, Rose Duplechien and Jeanette LaGrange, both of Baytown, Texas; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Guidroz; her son, Gerald Guidroz; a grandson; two brothers, Dutile and Alton Taylor; and four sisters, Vilma Guidroz, Wilma Calais, Anna Marie Stelly and Zula Stelly.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
