Vergia Devillier

Arnaudville – Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Vergia Devillier, 62, who passed away Monday, February 17, 2014, at her residence in Arnaudville.
Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery # 2 in Breaux Bridge. The Rev. Kennan Brown, pastor of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church, will officiate at the services.
Ms. Devillier was a native and lifelong resident of Arnaudville. She worked with University Medical Center for twelve years. She was a parishioner of St. Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville. Ms. Devillier was a loving person with a free spirit. She enjoyed music before coffee. Ms. Devillier was truly the last flower child. She was a very strong willed, determined mother who loved her family very much.
Survivors include two sons, Telly LeBlanc and his wife, Edie, and Clyde LeBlanc and his wife, Helen, both of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Carmen Lanclos of Sunset; six grandchildren, Michelle Lanclos, Gavin Lanclos, Brennan LeBlanc, Alex LeBlanc, Bryson Robin and Alaina LeBlanc; one brother, Louis Devillier of Cecilia; and one sister, Sophie Breaux of Breaux Bridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleff Devillier and the former Marie Berard, both natives of Breaux Bridge; one daughter, Desireé Woods of Lafayette; four brothers, Francis Devillier, Billy Devillier, C.J. Devillier and Jimmy Devillier; and two sisters, Nellie Devillier and Louise Devillier.
A rosary will be prayed at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9 a.m. Wednesday until service time on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the family at 1068 Sandy Nell Rd., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517.
