Stella Abatte

New Iberia - Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, February 19, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Stella Abatte, 73, who passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, at Dauterive Hospital.
Interment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia.
She is survived by two sons, Alvin (Lori) LaSalle of Windham, CT, and Jurvis LaSalle; three daughters, Miranda (Richard) Murrell of San Antonio, TX, Mona (fiancé, Norman Bouisse) LaSalle and Nina LaSalle, all of St. Martinville; three brothers, Santney (Rosa Lee) Abatte of Beaumont, TX, Raymond (Thelma) Abatte of New Iberia, and Stanley (Joyce) Abatte of Baytown, TX; three sisters, Emma Broussard and Serita Auzenne, both of Houston, TX, and Irene Abatte of New Iberia; 11 grandchildren; and her extended family, Doris St. Julien of New Iberia, Charlene Williams of St. Martinville, Alice Chretien of St. Martinville, and Loretta Narcisse of Lafayette.
She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Delton and Lionel Abatte; and her sister, Lucille Auzenne.
Pellerin Funeral Home of New Iberia, is in charge of arrangements.
