Marguerite Dugas Randazzo

St. Martinville – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church for Marguerite Dugas Randazzo, 96, who passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday at 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Rev. Rusty P. Richard will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Frannie Durand and Erin Faulhauber.
Gift bearers will be Maria Row and Joshua Rowe. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
Marguerite was born in Loreauville, Louisiana to the late Charles and Regina Delaune Dugas. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Marguerite was a faithful parishioner of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church, where she would take care of the flowers placed in the church. She was also a Girl Scout leader, a member of the Garden Club, and Krewe de Fou. Marguerite will be remembered for her kindness, her great cooking, and being an excellent seamstress. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her children, Henry Randazzo, Toni Rowe and husband George, Lon Randazzo, Karl Randazzo and wife Susan, Marguerite Yongue and husband James, and Van Randazzo and wife Dianne; grandchildren, Park, Whitney, Katherine, Maria, Joshua, Katie, Matthew, Erin, Matthew, Frannie, Jake, Craig, Jim and Kelly; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Lawrence Dugas.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Anthony J. Randazzo; her parents, Charles and Regina Delaune Dugas; five brothers and six sisters.
Pallbearers will be Henry Randazzo, Lon Randazzo, Karl Randazzo, Van Randazzo, Matthew Randazzo and Jake Randazzo.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lawrence Dugas, George Laviolette and George Rowe.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
