Luna Eve Guidry

Cecilia – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Luna Eve Guidry, 76, who passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 50 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesday and continue on Wednesday at 8 a.m. until 3:15 p.m.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Rev. Matthew Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Vickie Meche. Gift Bearers will be Monique Guidry and Vickie Meche.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Luna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her granddaughter. Luna enjoyed sitting on her porch listening to her French music, taking road trips, shopping, talking with friends, and going out to eat. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Nolan Guidry; her daughter, Charlene Guidry Landry and husband Todd of Breaux Bridge; her son, Paul Jude Guidry and wife Monique; a granddaughter, Jodi Landry; and her brother, Rodney Landry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Electa Angelle Landry; her brothers, James, Earl, Alton, Wilson, Herbert, Edwin and George Landry; and her sister, Beatrice Guidry.
Pallbearers will be Paul Jude Guidry, Jamie Landry, Drake Wiltz, Todd Landry, Kyle Landry and Ji Angelle.
Honorary pallbearer will be Corey Langlinais.
