Lionel J. Boyer Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 18, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Lionel Joseph Boyer Sr., 88, who passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at St. Martin Hospital.
Interment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge.
He is survived by his wife, Verna Breaux Boyer of Breaux Bridge; two sons, Lionel Boyer Jr. of Breaux Bridge and Robert Boyer of Houston, Texas; a step-daughter, Gale M. Latiolais of Shreveport; and a grandson.
He is preceded in death by four sisters, Alcidie, Layonne, and Eve Boyer, and Lucette B. LeBlanc; and four brothers, Luke, Alcide, Aldus, and Lucade Boyer.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
