Lena Latiolais Frederick

Catahoula - A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 26, at St. Rita Catholic Church in for Lena Latiolais Frederick, 90, who passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017, at Landmark of Acadiana Nursing Home.
A rosary was prayed on Sunday.
Rev. Richard Fabre officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers and Gift Bearers were Caroline Frederick and Diane Savoy. Interment followed at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula.
Mrs. Frederick enjoyed playing Bingo, Pokeno, and a good card game of Bourré with her family and friends. She was a wonderful cook and she especially enjoyed cooking for her family every chance she could.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Frederick and his wife Tina; her brother, Gabriel “To-To” Latiolais; two grandchildren, Joey Frederick and Caroline Frederick; and three great grandchildren, Keegan, Kaden, and Kerragan Frederick.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Frederick; her parents, Alfred and Anita Laperouse Latiolais; her, brothers, Gilbert “Rubin”, Fermin, Claude, and Ramie Latiolais; and her sisters, Lucy Savoy and Bernice Guilbeaux.
Pallbearers were Tommy Latiolais, Miguel Savoy, Phobe Savoy, Sherman Savoy, Glenn Savoy, and David Savoy.
Honorary pallbearers were Joey Frederick, Keegan Frederick, and Kaden Frederick.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
