Larry Joseph Wiltz Sr.

Funeral services were held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel for Larry Joseph Wiltz Sr., 68, who passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at his residence.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Thursday.
Fr. Michael Delcambre officiated at the funeral service. A rosary was prayed at 7 p.m. on Thursday. Scripture readings were read by Alex Kidder and Angel Kidder.
Larry was a U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He worked as a Riverboat Captain for 30 years and was owner/operator of Norma’s Landing (currently Turtles) in Henderson. Larry was also a carpenter/contractor and built custom cabinets.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Anderson Wiltz of Breaux Bridge; his son, Larry Joseph Wiltz Jr.; his daughter, Angel Wiltz Kidder and her husband Jackie Jude Kidder; his sisters, Carla Bower and her husband Jimmy, Gailen Wiltz and her wife Claire Rowland, and Dianne Matthieu and her husband Woody; his grandchildren, Alex Kidder and his wife Alaina Frederick Kidder, Drake Wiltz, Bailey Wiltz, Ethan Wiltz and Orie Wiltz; and his great-grandchildren, Pierce Angelle and Baby Kidder.
He is preceded in death by his father, Jules Wiltz Jr. and his mother, Clema Robin Wiltz.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
