Parks – James I. Desormeaux Sr., 70, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Wiltz Desormeaux; sons, James Jr., Christopher, Teddy and Michael Desormeaux; daughters, Mrs. Ivy (Lisa) Hebert and Mrs. Glenn (Amanda) Labit; brothers, Frederick and Warren Desormeaux; sister, Mrs. EJ (Christine) Ordoyn; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Christopher and Michael Desormeaux.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
