Geraldine Toby LaGrange

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at
St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Geraldine Toby LaGrange, 90, who passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 29, 2013 until 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Fr. Keenan Brown will conduct the services. Reading the scriptures will be Sandy Clause and Nicole Comeaux. Serving as gift bearers will be Monquie Comeaux, Jeanetta LeBlanc, Felica LeBlanc and Sally Ann Care.

Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville.

Geraldine was a very loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, mother in law and wife. She was very caring to everyone she met.

She loved her little dog “Baby Joe” who could not miss his meal of bologna and wieners.

Geraldine loved to sew, make quilts, puzzles and read. She loved her family and they were 1st in her eyes. Geraldine enjoyed cooking for the family and enjoying those moments.

She was a member of the American Legion Post 278 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Native American Tribal “Caddo Adais Tribe of Spanish Lake”.

She is survived by her son, Curtis Lee LaGrange and his wife, Judy, of Arnaudville; her daughter, Barbara Comeaux of Arnaudville; her daughters in law, Ettadene LaGrange of Kaplan and Lucy "Bootsie" LaGrange of Leonville; her son in law, Raymond Clause, Sr. of Leonville; her sister, Agnes Tulles of Conroe, TX; her grandchildren, Karl Comeaux, Kenneth Comeaux, Jr., Kenny Marie Comeaux, John Deville, Gervais LaGrange, Jr., Robbin Olivier, Raymond Clause, Jr., Chad Clause, Sr., Jeanetta LeBlanc, Felicia LeBlanc, Marcus Richard, Blake LaGrange, Shannon LaGrande and Mary LaGrange; her great grandchildren, Sally Ann Care, Carlos Ortis, Renee Patin, Nathaniel Dolbee, Ava Comeaux, Corey Suir, Chad Clause, Jr., Celeste Clause, Ayden Clause, Sally Alyce Clause, Chloe Comeaux, Naomi Comeaux, Michael LaGrange, Lucien LaGrange, Ajaha Duplechien, Trent LaGrange, Soyer LaGrange, Saxon LaGrange, Jade LeBlanc, Alyssia LeBlanc, Cy-David LeBlanc, Ryan Elyse LeBlanc, Madison Richard and Natalie Dolbee; her great-great grandchildren, Lexie Care, Braxton Care, Riley Lassigne, Macy Lassigne, Angelle Lassigne, Bentley Angelle and Regan Angelle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Sallie Morvant Toby; her husband, Lloyd LaGrange, Sr.; her daughters, Sally Ann Clause and Lelia Marie LaGrange; her sons, Lloyd "LJ" LaGrange, Jr., Gervais "Cookie" LaGrange and Robert Jerry LaGrange; her brothers, Paul Toby, Sr. and Bill Toby; her sisters, Gladys Rivers, Martha Peters and Salina Tobe; her grandchildren, Crystal LaGrange, Tammy Olivier and Calvin Olivier, Jr.; her great grandchild, Andrew Angelle; her daughter in law, Carla LaGrange and her son in law, Kenneth J. Comeaux, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Karl Comeaux, Kenneth Comeaux, Jr., Shannon LaGrange, John Deville, Gervais LaGrange, Jr. and Raymond Clause, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Curtis LaGrange and Raymond Clause, Sr.

The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Elliot and his staff, Hospice of Acadiana, Carmichael’s Supplies and Pellerin Funeral Homes.
