Genevieve Marie Usie

Henderson – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, Sept. 14, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Genevieve Marie Usie, 81, who passed away on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment followed at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Glenn P. Usie; her daughter, Bonnie S. Usie; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Usie; her son, Bert Usie; her brothers, Jules Jr., Emery, Shelton, Gercie Wiltz, Harris and Nolan Wiltz; and her sister, Doris Guidry.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson was in charge of arrangements.
