Frank Doucet

A Memorial Service for Frank Doucet, 59, will be held 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at Carney Funeral Home Chapel, 602 N. Pierce Street, Lafayette.
Rev. David Thomas will be officiating.
The family can be greeted at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home until time of service.
Private interment will follow.
Frank was born December 15, 1955, in St. Martinville to the union of Isabelle Lee Doucet and the late Ned Doucet. He was a longtime resident of Oakland and Santa Maria, California, before returning to Jeanerette three years ago.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Allen “Roy” Doucet and Evelyn Hayes.
Frank peacefully passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014, in Jeanerette following a lengthy illness.
Frank leaves to cherish wonderful memories with his mother, Isabelle Doucet of Carencro; his companion and their three children, Cathleen Horner, Douglas Doucet, Micheal Doucet and Marie Doucet, all of Jeanerette; three, sisters, Sharlene Joe of Carencro, Shirley Thompson of Mauldin, S.C. and Patsy Doucet of Greenville, S.C.; and a host of aunts, uncles nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
