Felix Joseph ‘Toloon’ Guidry

Breaux Bridge – Felix Joseph “Toloon” Guidry, 98, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017.
Felix, better known as “Toloon,” was born in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana to the late Fernest and Honorine Breaux Guidry. He was a WWII Army Veteran and a member of Knights of Columbus and the VFW. Toloon was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and cutting his grass. He began his mornings by walking around town before going home to work in his yard. Toloon was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 69 years, Juanita Broussard Guidry; daughters, Christine G. Begnaud, Sandra G. Grossie, Karen G. Caillouet, Pam G. Poirier and husband Gerald, Charolette G. Lalonde and husband Keith, Norine Guidry, Trisha G. Gravouilla and husband Rod, and Brooke G. Talbot and husband Derrick; son, Perry Guidry and wife Shara; 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild; and special family members, Joni, Tim and Steven Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five siblings; three sons-in-law; and one great-grandchild.
The family will have a private memorial service at a later date to honor Toloon’s wishes.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
