Ervin Alexander

Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church for Ervin Alexander, who passed away April 24, 2015.
Mr. Ervin Alexander retired from Chamberlin (Mayfield) of Lafayette after 30 plus years of service.
Ervin leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 62 years, Ms. Laura Alexander of Breaux Bridge; his children, Marie Alexander, Mary Gordon and Matthew Alexander (Patricia), all of Breaux Bridge, Carroll Alexander (Norma) of South Dakota, Alroy Batiste of Texas, and Wanda Jean Batiste, Mandolia Jean Batiste, Blake Jean Batiste (Stephanie), Gerard Jean Batiste (Shannon) and Melissa JB Dixon Bowie (Clarence) M.D., all of Lafayette, and Kim JB Benjamin (Dr. Louis Benjamin) of Baton Rouge; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Ervin is preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Alexander Thibodeaux; and one grandchild, Kendall C. Alexander.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015, from 7 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at Kinchen Funeral Home in Lafayette.
