Breaux Bridge – A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 6, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Ernest Charles Tauzin Sr., 85, who passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2017, at St. Martin Hospital.
Visiting hours will be observed at the funeral home from 5 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday and continue on Thursday at 8 until 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
He is survived by his sons, Ernest Jr. and Avery P. Tauzin; his daughters, Florence Tauzin and Melinda Wall; his sisters, Genevieve Hebert and Mrs. Gary (Lucy) Pentz; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Richard Tauzin; his siblings, Chester Tauzin, Audrey Hardy, Ronald Tauzin and Louise Broussard; and a grandchild.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
