Coty ‘Boz’ Champagne

St. Martinville – Funeral Services were conducted for Coty Michael “Boz” Champagne, 33, at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Evangeline Funeral Home with Pastor Andrew Champagne officiating.
Interment followed at St. Michael’s Mausoleum.
Visitation was held from 9 a.m. Wednesday until service time.
A native and resident of New Iberia, Coty passed away at 9:02 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014, in New Iberia.
Coty loved cooking, music, writing poems and spending time outdoors, fishing. Most of all he had a love of family and his children.
He is survived by his three sons, Hunter Dardar of St. Martinville, Bentley Champagne of Erath and Kaden Faul of Vidor, Texas; his mother, Nancy Comeaux Norman and husband Tavid; his father, Rocky Champagne of St. Martinville; his brother, Cory Champagne and wife Paris of Cecilia; two nieces, Stormi “Spank” Champagne of Cecilia and Alicia Redden of Cecilia; maternal grandmother, Euncie Romero of Coteau; and paternal grandmother, Donna Champagne of St. Martinville.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Maxie Comeaux; paternal grandfather, Henry Champagne Sr.; and his cousin, Dusty Champagne.
Pallbearers were Cory Champagne, Joey Borel, Kevin Bonin, Henry Champagne Jr., Joel Champagne and Aymon Norman.
Honorary pallbearers were Mickey Comeaux, Caelan Sam and Shane Guilbeau.
