NEW CITY TRUCKS

The city of St. Martinville has been awarded a $89,800 grant from the state Department of Public Safety to help it administer the new Louisiana State Uniform Construction Code, including $36,000 for vehicles.

The two 2008 Dodge half-ton pickups purchased March 1 cost $34,921 through a state contract.
