Mr. Deshotels, Miss Manuel joined in marriage

St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou provided the setting for a lovely 7:30 p.m. ceremony Friday, August 22, 2008, uniting Miss Tabitha Nichole Manuel and Mr. Daniel Ray Deshotels in holy matrimony with Father Bob Courville officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Bobby and Samantha Trattles and Michelle Manuel of Mamou. The groom is the son of Wilbert “Red” and Patricia Deshotels of Vidrine.

Given in marriage by Samantha Trattles, the bride was radiant in her white satin gown accented with beading and apple red-colored trim.

The bride carried a bouquet of red hydrangea.

Danielle Trattles of Mamou served as maid of honor for the special occasion. She wore an apple red-colored satin gown and carried a bouquet of red and white hydrangea.

Bridesmaids were Dawn Babineaux and Heather Deshotels of Eunice; Chasessica Brady of Vidrine; Simone Manuel of Mamou; Staci Bebee of Reddell and Hydie Holden of Pine Prairie. They were attired identically to the maid of honor.

Wilbert Deshotels of Vidrine served his son as best man for the evening ceremony.

Groomsmen were Jamie Deshotels of Eunice; Lonnie Andrus and Bobby Trattles II of Vidrine; Casey Bond of Baton Rouge; Robbie Bebee of Reddell; and Tony Rougeau of Lafayette.

Ushers were Keith Deville and Jonathan Manuel.

Josie Fontenot and Sydney Manuel were flower girls, while Riley Aguillard was the ring bearer.

Readers were Chasessica Brady and Katie Deville.

A reception followed at the Celestine Center in Mamou.

Following a wedding trip to Hot Springs, Arkansas, the couple has made their home in Vidrine.
