Thomas Caillier
Breaux Bridge – A Funeral Service was held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home for Thomas Caillier, 63, who passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at his residence.
Visiting hours were observed at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday and continued on Saturday at 7 a.m. until time of service.
Yvette Melancon of Crossroads ministry officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed edat St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Thomas was a wonderful father, grandfather, godfather, brother, brother-in-law, and everything in between. Family was everything to him, especially his wife, Sally, of 16 years. One of his best words of advice were “Family sticks with family.” Thomas never met a stranger in his life that didn’t become his friend and he will be remembered for his kindness toward anyone in need. As a pastime, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting grass, and watching T.V.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Sally Cavalier Caillier; his son, Jarrod Anselm of Breaux Bridge; his daughter, Amanda Caillier of Carencro; his brother, Richard Caillier and wife Alberta of Parks; a brother-in-law, John Huval, who was like a brother to him; his grandchildren, Lyle Wiltz, Louis Anselm, Hailey Anselm, Alexis Prudhomme,and Dacota Prudhomme; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Mary Lou Patin Caillier; his first wife, Linda Huval Caillier; his sister, Carolyn Huval; and his brothers-in-law, Terry Soignier and Robert Broussard.
Pallbearers were Louis Anselm, Josh Huval, Dustin Broussard, Steve Caillier, Nathan Normand and Richard Caillier
Honorary pallbearer was John Huval.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
