Henderson – A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 31, 2017, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church for Georgia L. Robin, 82, who passed away on Friday, July 28, 2017.
Visiting hours were observed from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday, and continued on Monday at 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., at Pellerin Funeral Home in Henderson.
A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Rev. Garrett Savoie officiated at the Funeral Mass. Readers were Jamie Robin and Bobby Robin. Gift bearers were Cobie Angelle and Cassie Theriot. Interment followed at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.
Georgia was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson and enjoyed attending Mass weekly. She loved listening to music and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Juanita Robin Theriot and husband Dennis, and Barbara Robin and partner Robbie Smith; her sons, Mitchell “Mike” Robin Jr. and wife Jamie of Scott, and Homer Robin and wife Irma; her grandchildren, Andon Robin, Ava Robin, Cobie Angelle, Cassie Theriot, Johnny Robin Jr., Adrian Hammalet and Casey Doucet; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and her daughter-in-law, Cindy Robin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elodie L. LeBlanc; her beloved husband, Mitchell Robin Sr.; a son, Johnny Robin; her brothers, Ralph LeBlanc, Tuney LeBlanc and Roy LeBlanc; and her sister, Gertrude LeBlanc.
Pallbearers were Johnny Robin Jr., Auston Doucet, Juel Patin, Gage Patin, Tristen Angelle, Deacon Robin and Jagger Robin.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson was in charge of arrangements.
