Three dead in domestic disturbance

St. Martin Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call on La Rue Angelle, just south of the Breaux Bridge city limits, shortly before 8 o'clock Tuesday evening. Upon their arrival, they discovered that three individuals had suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Another person, who also suffered a gunshot wound, was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Killed in the shooting were Clifford Blanchard, 59; Leola Blanchard, 62; and Ashlynn Blanchard, 3. Scott Blanchard, 32, remains hospitalized.
The case remains under investigation.
