Monday morning’s supercell shattered an oak tree and sent limbs crashing down on tombs in the Methodist Cemetery on Resweber Street in St. Martinville.

Numerous huge oaks were felled in St. Martinville’s Magnolia Park, including these three in a row. The farthest one is actually in Longfellow-Evangeline State Historic Area.
