Joseph W. Dartez Sr.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 24, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church for Joseph Wilbert Dartez Sr., 88, who passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015, at J. Michael Morrow Memorial Nursing Home.
He is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Harole (Deanna) Calais of Breaux Bridge; three sons, Ronnie Dartez of Cankton, Wilbert Dartez Jr. of Arnaudville and Freddie Dartez of Carencro; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruby Batiste Dartez; three brothers, William, Henry and Howard Dartez; and five sisters, Rena Lastrapes, Alice Chevalier, Ella Simon, Mable White and Mary Lucy Roy.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville was in charge of arrangements.
