St. Martin deputies nab suspected bank robber

St. Martin Sheriff’s Office deputies, with the assistance of a U.S. Marshal Service Task Force and the F.B.I., Tuesday arrested a Houston man wanted for bank robbery in Texas.
At 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, deputies executed a warrant on Martin Street in Breaux Bridge, taking Sonny Floyd Pervis, 25, into custody.
Pervis was wanted by Harris County, Texas, in connection with a July bank robbery in Pasadena, Texas. He was arrested without incident.
Pervis was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center pending extradition to Harris County.
