Wesley Barras

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 1, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Wesley Barras, 81, who passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2014, at St. Martin Hospital.
Mr. Barras honorably served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by two sons, Eddie J. Barras of Cecilia and Kevin Barras of Parks; three daughters, Mrs. Chris (Jenise) Lasseigne of Cecilia, Stephanie Barras of Parks and Mrs. Kenneth (Judy) Delahoussaye of St. Martinville; his brother, Melvin Barras; his sister, Mrs. Pierre (Shirley) Dupuis; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Castille Barras; his brother, Dorsey Barras and wife, Joyce; and his sister, Mrs. Tally (Diane) Perkins.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
