Whitney Peter Thibodeaux

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2014, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Whitney Peter Thibodeaux, 49, who passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be recited at 8 a.m. on Friday.
Fr. Joseph Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Tyliah Williams and Taliyah Thomas Poncé. Gift Bearers will be Kimberly Williams and Tamika Caillier.
Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge.
Whitney was an avid fan of football and loved watching TV, playing Dominos, cooking, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his father, Joseph Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge; three brothers, Jessie Thibodeaux, Wilbert Thibodeaux and wife Wendy, and Joseph A. Thibodeaux and fiancée Pamela Alexander, all of Breaux Bridge; three sisters, Linda Gordon and husband Iron of Breaux Bridge, Della Angelle of Cecilia and Norma Calais and husband John of Breaux Bridge.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marjie May Celestine Thibodeaux; his sister, Georgina Williams; a nephew, Paul Frederick Williams; and two uncles, John and Percy Thibodeaux.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Williams, Mark Williams, Reginald Gordon, Iron Gordon, Shannon Ledet and Borris Cormier.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge, 211 Berard St. (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
