Joseph Terrance Guidry

A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted for Mr. Joseph Terrance Guidry, 89, at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church with Fr. Rusty Richard officiating.
Interment followed at St. Michael’s Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Sunday with a Rosary at 7 p.m. The funeral home reopened at 8 a.m. on Monday until service time.
A native and resident of St. Martinville, Mr. Guidry passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Guidry enjoyed gardening, watching old western movies and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons, George J. Guidry and wife Loretta of New Iberia and Roy J. Guidry and wife Glenda of St. Martinville; one daughter, Linda G. Henry of St. Martinville; 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beulah Champagne Guidry; one daughter, Lillian Maraist; parents, Terrance and Elise Menard Guidry; two sisters, Ann Champagne and Marie Champagne; and three brothers, Lawrence Guidry, Allen Guidry and Alexandre Horace Guidry.
Pallbearers were George Guidry, Roy Guidry, Brad Maraist, Matthew Maraist, Bart Doucet and Dustin Roseberry.
Honorary pallbearers were Nicole Mariast Latiolais, Natalie Guidry Broussard and Sandy Romero Roseberry.
