Doris D. Buckalew

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 7, at St. Bernard Catholic Church for Doris Danos Buckalew, 84, who passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014.
Entombment followed at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Rex (Arlene) LeBlanc, Mary B. Clute, Magda Morck, and Mrs. Todd (Rebecca) Frederick; her sister, Mrs. Curtis (Patricia); ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Foy D. “Buck” Buckalew; her sisters, Laura Dauphinet, Aline Thibodeaux, Irene Begnaud, Inez Danos and Barbara Dugas; and her brother, Paul Danos Jr.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge was in charge of arrangements.
