Yolande Wiltz Skipper

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Yolande Wiltz Skipper, 92, who passed away on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014.
Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Victor (Lucy) Mallery of St. Martinville, Mrs. Leo (Audrey) Saucer of St. Joseph, Mich., Shirley Williams of Cade, Mrs. Joseph (Ann) Thompson of Glendale, Md., and Geraldine Amos of Lafayette; her son, Leroy Skipper Sr. of Cypress Island; 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Skipper; her son, James A. Skipper; and her siblings, Lionel, Loretta, Yola, Joseph and Sostan.
Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville was in charge of arrangements.
