Elza Mae B. Derouen

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for Elza Mae “Moma Mae” Broussard Derouen, 79, who passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014.
Interment followed at Broussard Cemetery in New Iberia.
She is survived by her son, Kenwood Derouen of New Iberia; four daughters, Danita Journet of Broussard, Mrs. Ronnie (Marisa) Dutile and Mrs. Gregory (Phyllis) Nelson of New Iberia of New Iberia, and Mrs. Gerald (Pamela) Derouen of St. Martinville; her brother, Henry Broussard of Albion, Cal.; 10 grandchildren ands seven great-grandchildren.
Pellerin Funeral Home of New Iberia was in charge of arrangements.
