Alice Joyce Peter Ledet

On November 17, 1933, Alice was born to Rudolph and Ida Edmond Peter, she was one of ten children.
On Wednesday, September 17, 2014, God sent down his angel and took Alice from this life into eternal life.
Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Breaux Bridge.
Visiting hours were observed from 7 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church,.
Pastor Dixson officiated at the Funeral Service. Interment followed at Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery on Washington Street in Breaux Bridge.
She is survived by her six children, Sarah Fuselier (Floyd) of Wimauma, Florida, Wilbert Ledet Sr. (Lillie Mae) and John Ledet (Anna Mae) of Jeanerette, Otis Ledet (Lois) of St. Martinville, Clint Ledet of Lafayette and Gerald Ledet of Breaux Bridge; three sisters, Linda Peter and Lois Smith (Alvin) of Breaux Bridge, and Gloria Hypolite of Parks; two brothers, Robert Peter of Lafayette and Rudolph Peter of Breaux Bridge; 23 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Bernadine L. Joseph; her parents, Rudolph and Ida Peter; her brother, Phillip Peter; and three sisters, Mary Ann Peter, Willamae Borel and Velma Pickney.
Pallbearers were Otis Ledet, John Ledet, Gerald Ledet, Christopher Ledet, Wilbert Ledet Jr. and Randy Peter.
Honorary pallbearers were Wilbert Ledet Sr., Kenton Ledet, Johnathan Ledet and Floyd Fuselier.
Pellerin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
