Mrs. Sidney Horton Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted for Mrs. Sidney Horton Jr., the former Louise Arnaud, 75, on Friday, September 19, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Buddy Breaux officiating.
Entombment will follow in All Saints Mausoleum.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 18, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 11 p.m. and resume on Friday, September 19, 2014, at 8 a.m. until the service time. A rosary will be prayed in the funeral home on Thursday at 7 p.m.
A native of and resident of Loreauville, Mrs. Horton passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014, at 11:43 p.m. at her daughter’s residence.
Mrs. Horton and her husband were the owners of Lou’s Bait Shop and Grocery in Coteau Holmes. Mrs. Horton served her community and loved to cook, go dancing and play cards. She was a mother to all.
She is survived by her children, Darrell Horton and his wife Darlene of St. Martinville, Jeffery Horton and his wife Wanda, Michael Horton and his wife Linda, and Brian Horton and his wife Priscilla, all of Coteau Holmes, Donna Migues and her husband Wade of Erath, Pauline Horton and Tina Savoy and her husband Travis, all of Loreauville; her grandchildren, Travis Migues of Erath, Brad Horton and his partner Glen Hebert of St. Martinville, Marlon Daigle and his wife Casey of Loreauville, Shannon Horton and his wife Jessica of Austin, Texas, Sandy Horton of Loreauville, Koby Horton of Coteau Holmes, Ravis Savoy and Jesse Goforth, both of Loreauville, Natasha Horton, Joni Horton and Janna Horton, all of Coteau Holmes, Kandis Savoy and Trinity Savoy, both of Loreauville and Jade Hammond and her husband Brycen of Broussard; her great-grandchildren, Kassidy Smothers, Keara Horton, Kaylon Horton, Rylan Daigle, Kullon Greene and Alayna Perez; her sister, Lillian Louviere of St. Martinville; and her sister-in-law, Lilly Verret of Coteau Holmes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney “Junior” Horton Jr.; her parents, Robert Arnaud and Bertha Robin Arnaud; her sisters, Ester Persilver, Delta Latiolais, Lilla Mae Guilbeau and Thelma Horton; and her brothers, Willie Arnaud Sr., Pierre Arnaud Sr. and Ovan Arnaud.
Pallbearers will be Travis Migues, Jesse Goforth, Marlon Daigle, Koby Horton, Jason Smith and Gary Horton Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Horton, Jeffery Horton, Michael Horton and Brian Horton.
