Jason Paul Frugé Sr.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 1, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church for Jason Paul Frugé Sr., 54, who passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014, in Mansura, Louisiana.
Visiting hours were observed from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Sunday and continued at 8 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Monday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia. A rosary wase recited at 7:00 pm on Sunday.
Rev. Michael Delcambre officiated at the funeral service. Scriptures were read by Sheila Gresko and Kamille Taylor.
Interment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.
Jason was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He loved family gatherings and cooking with his family and friends. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife 35 years, Carolyn Bordelon Frugé; two sons, Jason Frugé Jr. and Jamie (Stefanie) Frugé; his brother, Jimmy Frugé; his sister, Linda Frugé Doré; and five grandchildren, Lacey Frugé, Dylan Frugé, Breana Frugé, Sadie Frugé and Janie Frugé.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ludovic and Shirley Knott Frugé.
Pallbearers were Jason Frugé Jr., Jamie Frugé, Caleb Doré, Casey Doré, Lincoln Frugé and John Allen Knott.
Honorary pallbearers were Clayton Doré and Miles Calais.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia was in charge of arrangements.
