John Charles Savant

Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Henderson Bible Church for John Charles Savant, 69, who passed away on Friday, Aug. 1, 2014, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday, at Henderson Bible Church, 1045 Talley St., Henderson.
John served five years in the U. S. Army and an additional 15 years in the U. S. Air Force. He served overseas in Vietnam for one year and another year in Thailand.
He is survived by his wife, Griseida “Grace” Rincon Savant; his daughter, Mrs. Brian (Pamela) Frey; two step daughters, Mrs. Jake (Debbie) Esquibel and Edie Castro; two step-sons, Billy Almanza and Michael Almanza; two grandchildren and a great-grandson; and two sisters, Mrs. Wilven (Evelyn) Hayes and Mrs. Bill (Rita) Labiche.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Donald Lee Fruge.
