Jeanette C. Johnson

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9, at Notre Dame Catholic Church for Jeanette Marie Charles Johnson, 59, who passed away on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, at Ochsner Medical Center.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Notre Dame Catholic Church from 7 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday.
She is survived by her husband, Melvin Johnson of St. Martinville; her daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Natisha) Johnson of Maurice and Jennifer Johnson of St. Martinville; her brothers, Clyde B. Charles and Clegges Charles of St. Martinville; her sisters, Mrs. Benjamin (Vanessa) Grimm of Jeanerette and Mrs. Franklin (Elaine) Wiltz of St. Martinville; and three grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Emmett and Edna Jean Batiste Charles; and her sister, Germaine Charles.
Pellerin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
