Italian Festival Pageant Seeking Participants

The Italian Festival Pageant will be held on Saturday, May 2 at Our Lady of Pompeii Hall in Tickfaw. All entrants must be a resident of Tangipahoa Parish. The entry fee is $50 for girls divisions 6 months - 17 years and boys divisions 12 months - 3 years. The optional photogenic fee is $5. The entry fee is $60 for the 18-23 year Miss division.

The deadline for the 18-23 year Miss division was set for Monday April 20.

Registration will be held on Friday, May 1 at Our Lady of Pompeii Hall from 4:00-7:00 p.m.

Applications and Rules are available at Tickfaw City Hall, Malnar Tire Mart in Tickfaw, Nesom Middle School, Independence High School, Mater Dolorosa Catholic School, BBQ Station in Independence, Tic-Tock Shoppe in Hammond and at www.theitalianfestivalorg.com.

Walk-ins will be accepted the day of the pageant, only if the division is not full. You will be required to pay a late fee of $20, cash or money order will only be accepted.
