Breaux Bridge tops in water systems
The City of Breaux Bridge received the “Water Conservation Award” at the Louisiana Rural Water Association’s 30th annual Training and Technical Conference here July 15.
The LRWA Awards Program recognizes outstanding efforts of rural water and wastewater systems and their personnel. Out of all the systems across the state, Breaux Bridge was selected this year’s winner “for their dedication to providing safe drinking water and/or helping to maintain a cleaner environment through their efforts in the water/wastewater industry in the state...”
LRWA is a non-profit organization established in 1978 to aid small water and wastewater systems through training and on-site technical assistance.
