Sheriff candidate forum Aug. 13

A public forum featuring candidates for St. Martin Parish sheriff, sponsored by the Breaux Bridge Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held Thursday, Aug. 13, starting at 6 p.m. at Breaux Bridge City Hall.
Seating is limited and first-come, first-served.
Official qualifying for the office isn’t until Sept. 8-10, but there are already # persons who have announced candidacy. They are, an alphabetical order: veteran lawman Corey Broussard, retired Naval officer Albert “Buz” LeBlanc, businessman Brian Theriot, and incumbent Sheriff Ronny Theriot.
