LeBlanc takes the reins of St. Martin COA

Search is on for a permanent executive director

The St. Martin Council on Aging board of directors has named Erica LeBlanc interim administrator, replacing Wayne LeJeune who resigned as COA executive director earlier this month.

The action came during a special board meeting last Thursday, Nov. 14.

LeBlanc will be paid an hourly rate of $15 with the understanding that when a new director is hired she will go back to her regular pay.

She will handle the day-to-day operations of the COA until a new executive director is selected.

In March 2013, LeBlanc was hired as the new secretary by then interim director Burton Dupuis.
